eschatology n : the branch of theology that is concerned with such final things as death and judgment; heaven and hell; the end of the world. In the Christian world, there are four basic doctrines or teachings concerning the End Times. Below is a description of each.
The Amillennial brethren are the ones who consider the 1000 year reign of the Lord and Savior to be spiritual in nature and not literal and that the Church will be called out in the end of the world. They hold to the scriptures that say there is no accounting of time with God.
The Post Tribulational group believes the Seven Year Tribulation will take place and then the calling out (rapture) of the Church by the Lord Jesus Christ takes place followed by a literal 1000 year reign of Christ on this earth.
The Mid Tribulational brethren believe that the Seven Year Tribulation takes place with the calling out (rapture) of the Church by the Lord Jesus Christ after the first 3 1/2 years followed by a literal 1000 year reign of Christ on this earth.
Last and the newest school of eschatological thought is the Pre Millennial or Pre Tribulational brethren who believe the calling out (rapture) of the Church by the Lord Jesus Christ takes place first and then a Seven Year Tribulational Period followed by a literal 1000 year reign of Christ on this earth. These brethren are also know as dispensationalists.
As a young man, I was brought up in an Amillennial church where the belief was that the church would be taken out when God destroyed this earth to make a new Heaven and a new earth. I had agonized for years over the order of events that were to take place and after studying the scriptures could come to one conclusion. Christ will not leave his bride in the path of Gods wrath. (destruction) You see, the Lord told us there will be a great tribulation, (Matthew:24) such as the world has never seen and the question in my mind is would the church be here when this happened?
There is quite a bit of controversy surrounding the millennial doctrines. The Pre-Trib's arguing with the Posts, the Posts with the Mid's, and the Am's with the Pre's. During the 1970's and 1980's there were many a church split over these schools of thought. Why? Was it because people were using their own wisdom to divide the word of God? Not all of them can be right and the Holy Spirit didn't cause certain people to believe one thing and some another. God is not the author of confusion and the debate that should actually be a reasoning session continues to this day.

Are You Afraid To Back Up Your Beliefs?
It isn't limited to the Christian world. There are many who believe various things about how we were created or came to be. There are those, including myself who believe wholly in the biblical account of creation. Then there are some who believe that Darwinism (which I believe is a religion in it's self) is the only plausible answer. In the realm of how the universe came to be there are those that there was this Big Bang. On my end of the spectrum, who exactly lit the fuse? I believe with conviction it was the Lord God Almighty.
I have always believed that if you don't stand for something, you'll most certainly fall for anything. Forgive the cliché, but if "any way" will do, "no way" will do just as well. In the world I see only two possibilities. There is only truth or falsehood. There is no in between. I don't care how much you care to philosophize the subject. And man, not God has decided to make his own answers, which quite frankly has caused even more confusion over who God is, or more importantly, who He isn't.
Man also has created his own pathways to heaven, refusing to realize there is but one way to heaven and that way is by the Grace of God through Christ Jesus.
My own belief's are based on faith and also on historical evidence being that my own heritage is that of the Anabaptist (Baptist) lineage and education. We have been around since the end of the first century and believed basically the same since and have been called by many names, howbeit none were chosen by us.
So in reference to the title of this article, would you consider your beliefs strong enough to be examined by the scripture and by history?

New Christian Message Board
Pastor and Chaplain Tim Davis announces the opening of a new Message Board called "The Old Pathways". The URL is http://101info.org/oldpath/index.php and it is now ready for discussions. The principle reason for the boards existence is to give Born Again Believers an arena to defend the old ways of Christianity.

The Great Bible Deception
By the end of the first century, the New Testament had been completed and distributed among the churches in Sardis, Laodicea, Philadelphia, Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamos, and the largest concentration in Antioch. These were the letters (epistles) and Gospels written by the Apostles and Luke the physician. The language used to write these letters and epistles was the common Greek language of the day.
Once these were completed and diligently copied, around 120 AD, some of the brethren from the Waldeness valley of France then translated these into the common or “vulgar” Latin language and distributed around the Roman empire.
Later in the 1600’s, the letters from Antioch know as the “Received Text” was translated in their entirety into the English language giving us the King James Bible. The King James translators also used the Waldenessian Bible to check their translation so that we really have the originals translated into the English language without error.
Now, as for that deception about which this article is titled, at or around 230-240 AD, Alexandrian scholars got their hands on the New Testament in Antioch and took them back to their universities, where a man by the name of Origen Adamantius, c. 185–254 AD began to translate them into the Classic Greek of the day.
To give you some insight into Origens way of thinking, there was a paper he wrote called the “Allegorical Exegesis”. In this paper we find that Origen didn’t believe that God really meant what He said through the Apostles and wanted to enlighten the Christian world about what God really meant to say. I’m not sure about you but that kind of thinking really bothers me. Doesn’t it you?
Once Origen had completed his translation there was a complete mess. First thing I want you to clearly understand is that the Alexandrian Text from Origen was not the original letters and Gospels. They were a translation from the common Greek into the Classic Greek. And not only this but were translated using Origens twisted belief that God didn’t mean what He said.
With this simple understanding it should be quite easy to realize why there are verses missing and meanings changed in the newer versions of the Bible like the New International Version, the New King James, and the Holman Christian Standard bibles. They were translated using the Alexandrian Text or more precisely from the Nestle Text translated by Westcott and Hort.
The deception is that you and I are being lied to when publishers say they are translating their new bibles from more reliable texts. In reality they are translated from a translation that is purely corrupt.

Getting With It
Luke 14:16 Then said he unto him, A certain man made a great supper, and bade many: 14:17 And sent his servant at supper time to say to them that were bidden, Come; for all things are now ready. 14:18 And they all with one consent began to make excuse. The first said unto him, I have bought a piece of ground, and I must needs go and see it: I pray thee have me excused. 14:19 And another said, I have bought five yoke of oxen, and I go to prove them: I pray thee have me excused. 14:20: And another said, I have married a wife, and therefore I cannot come. 14:21 So that servant came, and shewed his lord these things. Then the master of the house being angry said to his servant, Go out quickly into the streets and lanes of the city, and bring in hither the poor, and the maimed, and the halt, and the blind. 14:22 And the servant said, Lord, it is done as thou hast commanded, and yet there is room. 14:23 And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled. 14:24 For I say unto you, That none of those men which were bidden shall taste of my supper. 14:25 And there went great multitudes with him: and he turned, and said unto them, 14:26 If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple. 14:27 And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple.
We are living in a day where evil is called good and good is called evil. How could this happen?
* How can the killing of unborn babies be considered a right and not a sin?
* How is is that a man can commit murder, then be brought into trial and acquitted because of his popularity?
* How can it be that we can elect a man into the highest office of this country, full of lies and open sin and stand behind him?
* How is it that we stand by silent while our young men and women live together in sin and say that they are just seeing if it will work out between them?
* Why is it that our Savior can't even be mentioned in our school systems today because some may be offended?
Could it be that the church isn't doing it's job? Could it be that if the church were out spreading the good news there would be less evil and more good? Yes!!!!!! Are we not to compel the lost to come into the house of the Lord? What was the Savior trying to tell us in Luke 14?
These, out in the world, for the most part haven't heard the Gospel of Jesus Christ. They really for the most part don't even understand the Law! If they don't understand the Law which shows our guilt and our need of a Savior, how can we as Christians hold them accountable for evil deeds? Romans 4:14 For if they which are of the law be heirs, faith is made void, and the promise made of none effect: 4:15 Because the law worketh wrath: for where no law is, there is no transgression.
They must be compelled to come into the house of the Lord so that they can hear the Gospel. Being non spiritual, they can't understand those things that are Spiritual! They must hear the preached Word of God! Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. 10:14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? 10:15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!
Once the Holy Spirit gets hold of these lost souls and points out to them that they must be saved, then, when they accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior, we will have one less unborn baby killer, one less juror that will acquit a guilty man, one more voter that will vote against an unGodly man, one less one that will live in fornication or adultery, even the witness in our public schools will return because we have another soldier in the Lords Army!
So you would say to me, "brother Tim, I am unable to get out and compel them to come into the House of the Lord!" Are you completely cut off from the world? Then PRAY. James 5:16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. and also, Luke 10:2 Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest.
How bout this one? "brother Tim, my friends will pick on me and I'll loose them, I'm afraid!" Hebrews 13:5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
Look, the lost are going to remain lost unless we be obedient to the Lord and either witness or get them to the preached Word! Their blood will be on our hands unless we are faithful! Romans 14:12 So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.
Do you know the plan of Salvation? Do you have the Word of God embedded in you soul? Jesus is the Only way to escape hell! John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. Are you saved? Do you realize that you are lost and on your way to a devils hell?
* Did you know that you are not righteous and are unable to come to God yourself: Romans 3:10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: & Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
* You have to admit you are a sinner and confess that you need Jesus: Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
* Ask Jesus into your heart as your Lord and Savior: Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Romans:12:21 Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.
